Georgia Ports Authority sees decline in Savannah, growth in Brunswick
SAVANNAH, Ga. — According to a report issued Tuesday from the Georgia Ports Authority, experienced a slight decline in traffic in Savannah’s port location. President and CEO Griff Lynch reported to its Board of Directors that the GPA handled 5.25 million twenty-foot equivalent container units in fiscal year 2024, which ended June 30, 2024. The performance constitutes a decrease of 2.3 percent or 123,000 TEUs compared to the previous year.

The Town has designated approximately five acres of land near the Bluffton Police Department in Buckwalter Place for economic development.
