Conroy Center Virtual Programs for August
The nonprofit Pat Conroy Literary Center is open to the public for docent-guided tours from Thursday through Sunday, noon to 4:00 p.m. The Conroy Center also hosts a variety of educational programs throughout the year for writers, readers, teachers, and students. South Carolina Weather Alert: Hail and Flash Flooding Chance Through Friday
Charleston, SC – South Carolina residents should brace for severe weather conditions starting today and continuing through Saturday. The US National Weather Service in Charleston has issued warnings for showers and thunderstorms, with stronger storms predicted to produce damaging winds and possibly large hail through Friday. Localized flash flooding is also possible, creating hazardous conditions for residents across the state.
