Panther men’s hoops announces staff updates for 2024-25
CEDAR FALLS, Iowa --- UNI head men's basketball coach Ben Jacobson has announced a pair of updates to the program's staff heading into the 2024-25 season. Haley Langstraat has been promoted to Director of Basketball Operations, having spent the previous three years as Assistant Director of Basketball Operations. Ike Hermer will serve as the program's Video Coordinator. This role will see a significant expansion of responsibilities due to recent NCAA rule changes, allowing a fourth on-court coach to be present and participate in off-campus recruiting.

The Dike-New Hartford School District is accepting donations for a project that’ll extend the football shed to create a meeting space for the athletic department. The coaches meeting room will offer a meeting space, offices for coaches who don’t have official district offices, modern amenities including projectors and whiteboards, and heating and cooling for year-round use. Superintendent Justin Stockdale says the project was kickstarted by a generous donation.
Single-game ticket sales now open for the 2024 UNI football season
CEDAR FALLS, Iowa — Single-game tickets for the UNI's 2024 football home matchups are now available for purchase through the UNI Ticket Office. The 2024 Panther football schedule will see five matchups inside the UNI-Dome beginning with the season opener on August 31 against the Valparaiso Beacons at 4 p.m. CT. The season opener will be the first of three TC's Kids Club days. Northern Iowa's home slate continues on October 5 when the Panthers host the reigning FCS National Champion South Dakota State Jackrabbits on Family Weekend, also set for a 4 p.m. CT kick.
