Botanicanna, located in Dubuque's Kennedy Mall, announced that they will close their sole Iowa location via Facebook this week. Swimming not advised at Coralville Lake beaches
CORALVILLE, Iowa (KCRG) - The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers says all beaches at Coralville Lake have tested above the state standard for E. coli levels. Swimming is not advised at Sugar Bottom Campground Beach, Sugar Bottom Day Use Beach, and West Overlook Day Use Beach until further notice. The Corps of Engineers says people should also not allow any pets to drink the water.

Local college student accused of mid-July rape pleads not guilty
A local college student has pleaded not guilty to accusations he sexually assaulted a juvenile female last month. Nandoya Ramadhan Othman, age 20, has been charged with third-degree sexual abuse by force. Decorah Police officers initially responded to a disturbance the evening of July 18 in the parking lot of the Decorah Walmart, after which a 17-year-old from Waukon told police Othman had raped her earlier that afternoon.
