In this book of the Amish Bonnet Sisters series, Debbie has become a permanent member of the family. She finally feels like she has found a place where she can fit in, and she is truly welcomed as a member of the family.

However, she dreams of being married and is ready to start looking for someone to fall in love with. However, she is used to being disappointed by men, so she isn't quite sure if she is ready to let someone in.

With the harvest, there is always more work than workers, and one of Ada's relatives comes to help. He may or may not become a good addition to the Baker/Bruner family.

Meanwhile, Cherish is continuing to keep her eyes on Krystal. She isn't quite sure what she is up to, but she is going to find out.
