Family says 21-year-old Shelton man clings to life following motorcycle crash

A Shelton man is still fighting for his life after being hit by a car while driving his motorcycle, according to his family. Cody Velasco, 21, was driving his motorcycle with his girlfriend Tori Charbonneau, 22, down Walnut Tree Road and Thompson Street Friday night when they were struck by a car. Velasco was also said to have had his right leg amputated. Family members said Velasco is not showing brain activity. "I'm lost. This is my son, my only son.
