EMMAUS, Pa - The Legion Region 2 Playoffs started on Saturday, Kutztown and North Parkland going head-to-head. In the end it would be the Buffalos coming out on top 8-1. Both teams being held in check until the bottom of the fourth, the Buffalos breaking through first. Greencastle wins Section 7 Championship, clinches state berth
The Greencastle 10-12 All-Stars defeated East Side 10-0 at Reading Friday night to win the Section 7 Championship and advance to the Pennsylvania State Championship in Newvile July 24-29. It went down to a winner-take-all game, as East Side defeated Greencastle 3-0 in the first game to force the deciding game.

Portland, Maine- The Portland Sea Dogs (11-7, 47-40) came up short in 6-5 loss to the Reading Fightin Phils (7-13, 38-50) on Saturday night. Portland crushed three homers by Phillip Sikes (6), Roman Anthony (11), and Kyle Teel (9). Teel notched a 4-for-5 day finishing a triple shy of the cycle with two RBI.
