Despite joining their AHL team in 2023/24, it appears as though the Flyers are on the verge of losing yet another promising prospect. The Philadelphia Flyers goaltending situation hasn't been going well in the past few years, so when Alexei Kolosov, a former third-round pick came to the AHL to join the Lehigh Valley Phantoms in 2023/24, confidence was high that he could be an NHLer of the future. Unfortunately, this off-season has been a backwards step for the talented prospect, as it has been revealed he has asked his KHL team, Dynamo Minsk to help him get out of his NHL contract to facilitate a return to Europe.

19-year-old drowns while swimming in N.J. lake
A 19-year-old man drowned Saturday in Lake Garrison in Gloucester County, according to the Elk Township police chief. The Gloucester County Medical Examiner’s Office determined the man accidentally drowned, according to Elk Township Police Chief Lance Hitzelberger. The man was taken from the lake to Inspira Hospital in Mullica Hill, where he was pronounced dead, the chief said in a news release.
