Inaugural Lima Masters tournament brings golfers together to raise money for local sports programs
HARROD, OH (WLIO) - The Lima community turned out for a golf tournament to ensure today's kids have the same opportunities they did. On Saturday, the 1st annual Lima Masters was held. The tournament started off years ago as a Lima native reunion in Columbus, but this year, the founders decided to bring it home and use the outing to raise money for athletic programs in local schools. This year's proceeds will be donated to the Lima City Schools football program through the new nonprofit 4 The Friendship. Many participants moved away from Lima a long time ago but were happy to come back for a good time and a good cause.

The new classic: Wood County couple opens vintage automobile museum
MILLBURY, Ohio — As Tammy and Mike Bartlett have spent over two decades collecting cars, their passion has grown from storing their collection in one garage, to building a larger one, yet outgrowing both spaces. Now the pair is showcasing their collectables in a museum for the public to view. The Millbury Classic Cars and Trucks museum, located at 26929 Cummings Rd., features close to 85 cars and trucks on display, said co-owner Tammy Bartlett, along with vintage and neon signs, gas pumps, bikes, and mannequins. “It really never intended to be a car museum in the beginning, but as our collection and our love for purchasing cars just kept growing,” she continued, “we've decided, you know, it would be really nice to share everything with the public.” Besides the classic car museum in Bowling Green, Snook’s Dream Cars, Bartlett said there’s nothing quite like this in the northwest region of Ohio.

Concerns raised in regard to Willoughby Tamarac Apartments
A complaint was recently filed with Willoughby Municipal Court in regard to Tamarac Apartments in Willoughby. According to Damel Austin, a nearby resident, he has sent multiple letters of concern to Willoughby City Council and Mayor Robert Fiala in regard to concerns about tall, noxious weeds at the apartment complex, located at 38360 Tamarac Blvd.
