UK Fans Taunt Megan Thee Stallion With “Free Tory” Chants

A small group of Tory Lanez fans in the United Kingdom recently attacked Megan Thee Stallion by shouting “Free Tory” at her as she walked past them.

The phrase “Free Tory” refers to rapper Tory Lanez, who was recently sentenced in the high-profile shooting involving the “Hiss” hitmaker.

Tory Lanez was convicted of shooting Megan Thee Stallion. Here is a timeline of what happened before the verdict and sentencing.

Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez attended Kylie Jenner’s house party in July 2020. That same morning, around 4:30 a.m., the Los Angeles Police Department received reports of gunshots from outside a Hollywood Hills home.

A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department told Billboard that Lanez, 27, was arrested on a felony charge of carrying a concealed weapon in a vehicle.

TMZ initially reported that Megan’s foot was injured during the incident due to broken glass on the vehicle’s floor. The outlet released a video of the “Traumazine” rapper at the scene of the incident, walking backward towards the police cars with blood on her feet.

Later that month, reports surfaced that Lanez had shot Megan.

Megan took to Instagram to share a photo of her gunshot wound after initially remaining silent about the situation.

Megan accused Lanez of shooting her on Instagram Live.

Lanez was found guilty of all three charges, including shooting Megan, in the District Attorney’s assault trial against him and sentenced to ten years in prison.

On Thursday (July 18), a video clip surfaced online showing Megan Thee Stallion and others, possibly the rapper’s entourage, being berated by a few Tory Lanez supporters.

In the video, several people screamed “Free Tory” at the Houston rapper as she walked past them after leaving a restaurant in the United Kingdom.

Midway through the video, Megan covers her nose and looks at the crowd with disgust after hearing them say, “Free Tory Lanez mane.”

Fans on social media have quickly condemned the hecklers, with many expressing their support for the rapper and disapproval of the disrespectful behavior.
