Saweetie and YG Fight Gets Out of Hand, Police Forced to Step In

According to reports, law enforcement was summoned to Saweetie and YG’s home after a heated argument escalated to the point where neighbors felt compelled to step in.

YG and Saweetie first sparked dating rumors in April 2023 when they were seen getting close at Coachella. A month later, they confirmed their relationship with a PDA-filled vacation to Mexico.

The couple dove headfirst into their relationship, collaborating on music and even planning a tour together. Even though the tour was canceled, they appeared to be going strong in 2023.

But once 2024 arrived, they formally announced that they were ending things.

In January, it was reported that YG and the “Nani” artist had split up, but the rumors were dispelled when Saweetie made a guest appearance during YG and Tyga’s Rolling Loud California set.

Onstage, Saweetie teased YG to profess his love for her “louder” in front of 70,000 people.

On Monday (Aug. 12), TMZ reported that YG and Saweetie were fighting at a Los Angeles home, prompting police to respond.

According to reports, the couple got into a heated argument at their home on Saturday, prompting police intervention after a concerned neighbor called 911.

Claims from sources familiar with the situation, deputies arrived on the scene and quickly separated the two to defuse the tension. According to reports, the argument began over a cell phone.

Fortunately, after speaking with YG and Saweetie, law enforcement determined that no physical altercation occurred—only a loud disagreement. The officers documented the incident as a precaution, but no charges were brought.

The couple, long regarded as one of hip-hop’s golden couples, has yet to publicly address the situation.

Fans are concerned for both artists’ well-being and hoping for a peaceful outcome.

Both YG and Saweetie’s representatives have yet to respond to the situation.
