Anaya Fernando , an entrepreneur from Kalamazoo, Michigan , has achieved a major milestone by securing a retail deal with Fresh Thyme Market, a grocery chain with 73 stores across 11 states .

As the CEO and founder of Sugar Sweet Bath + Body Treats, Anaya’s journey has been nothing short of inspiring .

Her bath and beauty self-care brand will now have four of its top-selling products available in Fresh Thyme stores, thanks to the growing support from local mentors and business leaders.

Anaya’s dream of owning her own business started at the age of 4, and now, just after graduating from Portage Northern High School , she’s making that dream a reality .

“I hope others see my progress and the work I do with my business as a testament to everything I have been taught and believe in,” Anaya shared in 2022 , shortly after securing the deal that made headlines .

Founded in 2018, Sugar Sweet Bath + Body Treats offers a playful range of bath bombs, body butters , whipped soaps, and scrubs.

Each product is carefully crafted to make bath time fun while offering a unique, sweet-themed presentation .

Anaya’s passion for her business shines through in the creativity of her offerings, all while driving the company toward wholesale and private-label success.

This significant retail partnership , made possible with the help of Teresa Baker and LLC Startup , is a big step for Anaya, and she hopes her journey will inspire other young entrepreneurs to pursue their goals .
