Seymour and New London Legion Off To State
The AA Legion Regionals at Kewaunee County and New London wrapped up over the weekend with two area teams qualifying for State. Seymour went 3-1 in a three team round robin tournament to win the regional and qualify for state. Seymour was defeated by Kewaunee County in the Championship game, but beat them in the rematch.

STRATFORD – Brady Berg drilled a go-ahead grand slam home run in the bottom of the sixth inning to lift Stratford to a 7-5 win over Clintonville in a winners’ bracket game at the Class A American Legion Baseball Regional on Sunday at the Tiger Stadium Baseball Field.
Late Rally Pushes Wisconsin Past Beloit
BELOIT, WI – The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers didn’t let an early start, or a late deficit bother them on Sunday afternoon at ABC Supply Stadium. Wisconsin rallied from a 2-0 deficit with single runs in the eighth and ninth innings and three runs in the tenth to defeat the Beloit Sky Carp 5-3. The game started thirty minutes earlier than scheduled due to a forecast that called for thunderstorms in the early afternoon. It did rain lightly a few times during the game, but the storms never rolled through the area leading to a pleasant afternoon at the stadium.
