Authorities close Rock Cut State Park, searching for missing person
WINNEBAGO COUNTY, Ill. (WIFR) - The search for a missing 31-year-old man sent hikers and paddlers home early on Saturday afternoon at Rock Cut State Park. Illinois Conservation Police (ICP) Sergeant Audrey Hoftender says the active investigation began the morning of July 27. Local and state authorities soon arrived – with a K9 unit searching for the person on land.
