LMPD: 3 arrested, seven cited for street camping since Safer Kentucky Act became law
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — For the first time, the Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD) is releasing information in regards to the recently implemented Safer Kentucky Act. Sgt. Matt Sanders explained LMPD has made three arrests and cited seven others for street camping since the law went into effect on July 15. According to the bill's writer and sponsor, Kentucky Rep. Jared Bauman, the idea of the bill is to "support Kentucky citizens with the highest levels of safety, security, and protection possible."

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - The three suspects accused in a road rage shooting that left a young girl paralyzed will be tried together, despite attempts by the attorney for two. A 32-year-old woman was identified Monday as the person who died Friday morning after being hit by multiple vehicles on Interstate 65 North at Outer Loop. Identities of two men killed in boat crash in Falls of Rough released
The identities of the two men who perished in a boat crash in Falls of Rough have been released. David N. Stomberger, 46, of Crestwood, and Eric P. Derloshon, 51, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, were both killed in the crash that happened Sunday morning at approximately 12:30 when a bass boat, containing two Grayson County men, crashed into a pontoon boat containing several people on Rough River Lake in the Cave Creek area of the park.
