DPS remembers two fallen Troopers today
DPS is remembering two fallen troopers today. On this day in 1993, 35-year-old Sergeant Mark Dryer was struck and killed on I-10 by a vehicle driven by 33-year-old Charles Ransier. Dryer had stopped another motorist for speeding. Ransier was driving under the influence of drugs and was sentenced to 15-years in prison in 1995.
