Overdose Awareness Walk Aug. 31 In Kirkwood
An awareness walk in honor of International Overdose Awareness Day to remember lives lost to substance overdose will be held Saturday, Aug. 31, in Kirkwood. People can begin gathering at 9 a.m. at Concordia Lutheran Church, 505 S. Kirkwood Road. A tribute to lives lost will begin at 10 a.m. with the walk immediately following. The walk is roughly 1.4 miles and is relatively flat. Those who don’t wish to walk can bring a lawn chair and watch the beginning and end of the walk.
