Makeover for new restaurant in old Saugatuck building OK’d
WESTPORT — Plans are taking shape for a new restaurant at the Saugatuck site where other eateries have served meals for decades. The Bridge at Saugatuck, a new restaurant and bar, is slated to open at 535 Riverside Ave., most recently the Parker Mansion restaurant, and for many years earlier, the Mansion Clam House.

SUNY Oneonta to help develop fire-safe battery technology
ALBANY, NY (WUTR/WFXV/WPNY) — Governor Kathy Hochul announced on Wednesday, July 24 that a local college will be helping develop new innovations in battery technology. SUNY Oneonta will be one of two places in New York State to receive funding from the United States Department of Energy (DOE) for a long-duration energy storage project using fire-safe battery technology.
