New Iowa traffic cameras law puts Dubuque’s plan on hold
DUBUQUE, Iowa (KCRG) - Dubuque’s plans to install automatic traffic enforcement cameras will have to wait until at least 2026. A new Iowa law limiting how cities and counties can use traffic cameras went into effect July 1st. It creates standards for citations drivers can receive and puts a two year moratorium on new traffic cameras.

A Flood Warning continues on the Mississippi River with no end in sight. The latest river level this morning shows the Mississippi at Dubuque sitting at 22.2 with a slow rise. The latest forecast from the National Weather Service shows the river now reaching 22.4 feet sometime Tuesday and staying above 22 foot level through at least next Friday.
