The city says G-Unit will select food trucks from the city’s vendor list; all vendors must meet city requirements and be permitted. G-Unit is also partnering with the Red River Revel to line up vendors at Festival Plaza. The city says banned vendors will not be allowed to set up without first going through the city’s permitting process.

Woman arrested with drugs at vacant house
Narcotics officers arrested a Ruston woman last Wednesday while investigating reported drug use at an abandoned house. Officers of the Lincoln Parish Narcotics Enforcement Team responded to a house on Union Avenue where they found several people inside. In identifying the occupants, they learned Lametria L. Owens, 23, was wanted on two warrants for failure to appear in Third District Court.
