PFL 6 results: Brendan Loughnane earns top FW seed with second-round TKO

The Professional Fighters League returned to action on Friday, June 28, with PFL 6 at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, as the regular season wrapped up.
The event featured the regular-season bouts in the welterweight and featherweight divisions.
2022 featherweight champion Brendan Loughnane (29-5) and Justin Gonzales (14-5) faced off in the main event. In the co-main event, former Bellator interim champion Logan Storley (16-3) entered the cage in his hometown to take on Luca Poclit (10-2).
After an exciting main card, Loughnane raised his hand in victory after a second-round TKO finish. Loughnane locked up the top seed in the featherweight playoffs with the win and will face No. 4 Kai Kamaka in the semifinals.
The second semifinal will feature No. 2 seed Gabriel Braga vs. No.. 3 Timur Khizriev. Braga (14-1) earned a second-round TKO win over Bubba Jenkins in the main card opener, while Khizriev advanced to 16-0 with a unanimous decision victory over Enrique Barzola (20-9-2).

At welterweight, Magomed Umalatov (16-0) locked up the No. 2 seed with a first-round submission of Brennan Ward (17-9). He will face Don Madge (11-5-1) in the semifinal matchup despite Madge's unanimous decision loss to Neiman Gracie (13-5).
The top seed belongs to undefeated Shamil Musaev (18-0-1), who scored a second-round TKO of Murad Ramazanov (12-1, 1 NC) on the preliminary card. The two men will rematch in the welterweight semifinals.
