    I77S reopened in Kanawha County after crash

    UPDATE: (3:40 P.M. Thursday, June 27) – All lanes of I-77 South are now reopened after a crash near Sissonville this morning, According to West Virginia 511.


    CHARLESTON, WV (WOWK) – A portion of I-77 South is shut down in Kanawha County due to a vehicle crash.

    According to Kanawha County Metro 911 dispatchers, the single-vehicle crash happened around 10:41 a.m. Thursday between the 115- and 116-mile markers of I-77S.

    Dispatchers say no one was injured in the crash.

    The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office and Sissonville Volunteer Fire Department are responding. There is no word on how long the road will be closed.
