MSP investigating crash of vehicle into Marquette Township building
MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP, MI— A vehicle crashed through a Marquette Township storefront Thursday. Michigan State Police from the Negaunee Post say it happened shortly after noon at CosmoProf. A 60-year-old Marquette woman tried to park her Lincoln sedan in front of the business, but troopers believe her brakes failed and the car smashed into the building.

MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WZMQ) – No injuries were reported after a vehicle crashed through a business in Marquette Township Thursday afternoon. Michigan State Police says it happened around 12:05 p.m. A 60-year-old woman from Marquette was attempting to park her vehicle in front of the Cosmoprof. MSP believes the brakes failed, sending the vehicle into the building.

Local election officials explain step-by-step guide to obtaining absentee ballots
MARQUETTE COUNTY, Mich. (WLUC) - As primary election day gets closer, election workers want to remind people that absentee ballots are now available. The City of Marquette said it has already passed out more than 3,000 absentee ballots. County Clerk Linda Talsma said people can obtain their ballot through their local jurisdiction.

Kam Jones - Easily the best returning player from last season. This is Kam's team next year. In his junior season he averaged 17 ppg, 2.9 rebounds, 2.4 assists and shot 50% from the field. He should be a Preseason All-American. Kam will need to continue his great scoring for Marquette to be successful next year.
