Death of 21-year-old Xavier Hoffman marks 20th Savannah homicide in 2024
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Following a shooting at the Rendant Apartments Tuesday night, July 23rd, on Shawnee Street in Savannah, police have now identified the victim. According to the Savannah Police Department, last night around 6:00 p.m., 21-year-old Xavier Hoffman was shot and killed inside an apartment. When officers arrived at the scene, they attempted CPR, but Xavier died from his wounds. His death marks the 20th homicide in Savannah from gun violence.
