“We Had No Choice”: Foo Fighters Forced To Cancel Concert for “The Safety of Our Fans”
While once playing alongside Kurt Cobain in Nirvana, the passing of the singer left a massive hole in the music industry and in drummer Dave Grohl. Wanting to still share his love for music, the musician formed the group Foo Fighters. Since the release of their first album in 1995, the band recorded a total of 11 studio albums. Their last, But Here We Are, hit shelves just last year. While touring and recording music, the Foo Fighter recently had to cancel a concert when dangerous weather moved in. Upset over the decision, Grohl shared his remorse for ending the concert early.
NYC schools will have universal dress code for first time
For the first time, all New York City public school students will have to abide by a universal school dress code. The New York City Council approved legislation Thursday that requires public school dress codes to comply with Title IV, the federal civil rights law that bars discrimination based on gender.
