SLATER SCHOOL BOARD TO CONSIDER SEVERAL BUDGET ITEMS

The Slater School District Board of Education will consider several budget items and adopt the Fiscal Year 2024-2025 budget during its meeting on Tuesday, June 25.

The board will authorize transfers from the General Fund to the Capital and Special Fund before adopting the next Fiscal Year budget. The next budget will take effect after June 30.

The board will also hear and update from the Four Day School Week committee and consider a motion to allow sixth grade students to participate in all Junior High sports and activities.

The board will also approve bus routes for the upcoming school year and consider the 2024-2025 KVC contract.

The meeting is scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m.
