Slinger High School alum Kate Hosking makes Dean’s List at Luther College
July 3, 2024 – Slinger, WI – Slinger High School alum Katelyn Hosking of Slinger, WI, made the Dean’s List at Luther College for the Spring 2024 Semester. To be named to the Dean’s List, a student must earn a semester grade point average of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale. Luther College’s Spring 2024 list included 577 students; 61 first-years, 114 sophomores, 152 juniors and 250 seniors.
On a history note | In 2015 two students attended their 80th WBHS class reunion
West Bend, Wi – It was September 2015 and an 80th reunion was held for the West Bend High School class of 1935. There were 86 students in the graduating class. Two remaining students, Lillian Moritz Oelhafen and Frieda Kaehny Hauser attended. They met for breakfast at Perkins Restaurant in West Bend. There were lots of memories shared by the 98-year-olds who reminisced about their days growing up and working in West Bend.
