Teen charged in North Jersey student's stabbing death indicted: Where the case stands
The teenager accused of fatally stabbing a New Jersey teen in Manhattan in November was arraigned on an indictment earlier this month by a grand jury. Gianluca Bordone, 19, of Long Island appeared in a Manhattan court on July 1 for the stabbing of 17-year-old Rocco Rodden. Rodden's 19-year-old brother was also injured.
County Executive Neuhaus Signs Resolution to Purchase Maple Avenue Building in Chester
Goshen, N.Y. – On Monday, Orange County Executive Steve Neuhaus officially signed the resolution, entering into an agreement to purchase the Maple Avenue Building located in the Village of Chester. Update: Air quality alert in effect for 5 N.J. counties Wednesday
On Wednesday at 10:06 a.m. an updated air quality alert was issued valid until 11 p.m. for Passaic, Hudson, Bergen, Essex and Union counties. "The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection has issued an Air Quality Action Day for the following counties: Bergen, Passaic, Hudson, Essex, Union, Until 11 p.m. this evening. An Air Quality Action Day means that Ground Level Ozone within the region may approach or exceed unhealthy standards," states the National Weather Service.
