(Des Moines) The National Weather Service says there are multiple chances for thunderstorms this week, including the potential for severe storms and heavy rainfall. Non-severe showers and thunderstorms will move in from the west this morning, with the potential for a few severe storms moving in from the west and northwest tonight. Deere to Cut 600 More Jobs
Deere & Co. initiated a new round of employment cuts at three plants in Illinois and Iowa, affecting about 610 workers by August 30.
