    Smyrna Woman Accused of Possessing 3.78 Pounds of Marijuana

    Jada Coley, 20, of Smyrna, is accused of possessing 3.78 pounds of marijuana on July 11 at 8:39 p.m. at an apartment at 185 Cumberland Crossing in Smyrna, in the Elme Cumberland apartment complex near the intersection of Cumberland Gate and Spring Road, according to an arrest warrant from the Smyrna Police Department.

    The marijuana was discovered in the kitchen in close proximity to a digital scale that contained marijuana residue, multiple clear baggies and packaging materials, $728 in cash and 170 units of ecstasy. Coley was also in possession of a stolen Glock 21 handgun that was found in the bedroom, according to the warrant.

    Coley is charged with intent to distribute marijuana – felony; possession; theft by receiving firearm; possession of marijuana more than 1 ounce; intent to distribute; and reckless conduct. She was arrested on July 12 at 12:37 p.m. and booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, according to jail records.

    Coley remains in custody without bond.
