The guys at Hoods To Woods just dropped an interview from New Jersey's own Big Snow American Dream, and the answer warms out hearts.

So what is Hoods To Woods, you may wonder?

Well, ultimately, the Hoods to wWoods foundation is a non profit 501(C)3 organization that promotes awareness of the outdoors to inner city children through snowboarding.

In 2009, Hoods to Woods was created with the idea that everyone should have access to the outdoors. Hoods To Woods co-founders Brian Paupaw and Omar Diaz grew up in underserved communities in New York City and understand that sharing their passion for the outdoors can have a positive impact on inner city youth.

And the thing is, we only know what we see. Growing up as inner city kids on the east coast, Brian and Omar never saw snowboarding in their peripherals. By some odd chance, Brian found snowboarding through some friends and never looked back. After making a short film and claiming he wanted to bring this back to his people, Omar joined the picture. With the idea of "community first" and the thought of showing a new generation of inner city kids the wonders of the out doors, Hoods To Woods was born.
