    Man killed in Snyder dog attack, police said

    SNYDER, Texas — A 40-year-old man identified as Toby Bryan Berkley was named as the victim killed in a dog attack in Snyder on Thursday, according to Chief of Police Mike Counts.

    The Snyder Police Department responded to the 2900 block of Avenue J around 6:00 a.m.

    Police said Berkley was walking down the road when he was attacked by dogs. Police said the two dogs involved were caught and the owner was identified.

    The Texas Rangers were notified and are assisting in the investigation.
