Fans of The Bold & The Beautiful who have also watched The Young & The Restless might feel a bit of deja vu when Crew M orrow makes his debut as Will Spencer on Thursday, Aug. 1, given that the young man is the spitting image of his father, Joshua Morrow, when he first started playing Nick on Y&R!

After initially pursuing screenwriting, the younger Morrow found himself turning to acting and received the full support of his parents, especially his dad. “He sat me down and said, ‘Son, this is a dog-eat-dog world,” the B&B newcomer told TV Insider . “You’re going to fail a lot before you succeed and there’s going to be a lot of difficult challenges along the way. And he was right. I took his words of wisdom because he’s been in the game for longer than I’ve been alive.”

Will was last seen on screen back in January 2020, when the character was played by young Finnegan George, so now that Bill and Katie’s son is much older, look for him to get involved in all kinds of drama with the Forresters, Logans, and Spencers.

“I haven’t explored this character for long, but he’s prideful, and he deeply loves his family,” Morrow explained. “He loves his mother — I think a little bit more than his father. There’s been some history with Will and Bill. But coming home is a little bit rocky, and I think you’ll see that come August 1 when my first episode airs.”

Liam was happy to welcome Luna to the Spencer family but Will’s reaction to his new sister will likely be a bit different. Plus, if he’s going to take his mother’s side against Bill and Poppy’s new relationship, things could get pretty ugly. “I think both he and her ideas fall very in sync together,” Morrow told Soap Opera Digest . “I think he listens to his mother a lot and I think he believes what his mother believes. So there’s definitely some feelings of uncertainty with Poppy Nozawa. He went away to boarding school and now he comes back with a whole new family living inside of his home. I think it hurts seeing these strangers in his home and maybe, in his mind, stealing it.”

So stay tuned to see how Will’s reintroduction adds new twists and turns to the storyline!
