Dead Bobcat Found on Power Pole at Small Brush Fire on Santa Rosa Road
A dead bobcat was discovered on a power pole at the scene of a small vegetation fire near Lompoc on Sunday night. Santa Barbara County and Lompoc firefighters were dispatched to an incident in the 2100 block of Santa Rosa Road near Highway 1 at approximately 8:30 p.m., county fire Capt. Scott Safechuck said.

Hershey is a 1-year-1-month-old male brown brindle and white Pit Bull Terrier and is a unique dog available for adoption at the Lompoc Animal Center. Weighing approximately 53 lbs., Hershey is as sweet as his name. The staff describes Hershey as a cuddler who plays well with others, is gentle but shy, and eager to sit in your lap. Hershey’s adoption fees include his neuter, microchip, vaccinations, flea treatment, and health/wellness exam.
