Samsung supplier to build $175M plant in Taylor
Soulbrain TX, LLC, a South Korean manufacturing company, announced it will invest $175 million into opening a phosphoric acid facility to help with Samsung's nearby semiconductor fabrication plant in Taylor. According to a news release, the City of Taylor and the Taylor Economic Development Corporation (TEDC) reached an agreement with Soulbrain on this initial investment as well as the promise for the plant to create a minimum of 50 jobs.

Authorities ID man hit, killed by 18-wheeler on Loop 410 on Southeast Side
SAN ANTONIO – A man who was fatally struck by an 18-wheeler on Loop 410 on the Southeast Side has been identified by the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office. Hector Reyna, 62, was struck just before 11 a.m. Wednesday on the southbound lanes of Southeast Loop 410 near Via De Ventura and Alma, just past Rigsby Avenue, authorities said.
