There is a very interesting place that has been added to the National Register of Historic Places that can be found in the city of Hamilton, Alabama: a city with a county seat in Marion County. It has over fifteen acres of area that it takes up and it was built back in eighteen seventy-five, making it over a decade old and a great piece of history for the United States and the state of Alabama to work to preserve for future generations to understand. If you want to get really specific about where you can find this place, it is located at the coordinates 34°7′19″N 87°50′14″W. This historic location goes by the name of Pearce's Mill and part of it can be found pictured above!

Pearce's Mills was added to the National Register of Historic Places on October of nineteen seventy-six and it was added to the register with the reference number 76000343. The main mills that were located here were demolished back in the year nineteen seventy for safety reasons, but other locations that you can find at Pearce's Mills are still available for people to take a look at whenever they please. There is one place that is a two-room dogtrot house that was once a part of one of the main mills.

One of the remaining structures for Pearce's Mill is a two-story Victorian structure that was once a general store, adding to the history of American architectural designs. Other structures include a tenant farmer's house, a former blacksmith shop, a barn, a shed, an abandoned bridge, and a family cemetery.
