Plasencia Cigars has announced its Alma del Campo Guajiro is now a box-pressed offering. Previously, it was offered as a parejo. Alma del Campo is a Nicaraguan puro featuring tobaccos grown on the Plasencia farms. Production is handled out of the Plasencia factory in Estelí, Nicaragua. Like the parejo version, the Guajiro measures 5 1/2 x 54 and comes in ten-count boxes. The remainder of Guajiro’s parejo format will continue to be available to retailers until inventories are depleted. Plasencia says the new format was based on customer demand. It becomes the second box-pressed size under the Alma del Campo line following the addition of the Cigar News: Plasencia Alma Del Campo Travesía.
