Santa Rosa Marathon Returns This Weekend with Several Road Closures
The 16th annual Santa Rosa Marathon is happening this weekend. There will be a Five-K and Ten-K run on Saturday, and a half and full marathon on Sunday. Each race will start and finish at Old Courthouse Square. Parts of Fourth Street and Mendocino Avenue in the downtown area will be closed for several hours on both days. More than a thousand athletes are expected to run through the streets of Santa Rosa. Sunday’s full marathon, a Boston Marathon qualifying event, starts at 6:30 in the morning.
