He wears a raspberry beret: Meet Sapper the service dog, often spotted around Fort Liberty.
Wearing a maroon beret and sunglasses, Sapper likes to hang his head out the window of his best friend’s ride as it cruises around Fort Liberty and Fayetteville. At times, Sapper’s been stopped by military police, but he’s also shaken hands with Lt. Gen. Christopher Donahue, commander of the 18th Airborne Corps, and often has his photo shared on military social media accounts.
1 North Carolina City Has The Pickiest Eaters In The Country
We all know someone who seems to be the among the pickiest eaters. I’ll be the first to admit I’m somewhat of a picky eater. I’ve certainly gotten better as I’ve gotten older, but there are still plenty of things I won’t eat. That being said I’m not the person who is only ordering chicken fingers at a restaurant by a longshot. I did find it interesting, as someone born and raised in North Carolina, that one of the cities with the pickiest eaters in the country is right here in NC.

Combat medics use the M249 light machine gun during a field observational assessment
FORT LIBERTY, NC – A dynamic shift in the way the Army operates, from counterinsurgency to large-scale combat operations, has been occurring for almost a decade. Soldiers need to remain lethal, and medics need to keep warfighters on the objective. Prolonged field care initiatives will help keep patients alive for longer periods of time, in the absence of evacuation options. What about patient security, and the security of the unit? Security assets may not always be available, and M4 carbines and M9 pistols may not provide the firepower needed to ensure the protection of the patients.
