Alsobrooks’ Campaign Office Burglarized in Downtown Silver Spring: Reports
Montgomery County Police are investigating a burglary that occurred last week at U.S. Senate candidate Angela Alsobrooks‘ campaign field office in downtown Silver Spring. MoCo360 reported Saturday that the Alsobrooks campaign office, located in the 8400 block of Colesville Road, was broken into sometime between Thursday night and Friday morning. A staffer arriving to work at 11:15 a.m. on Friday discovered the break-in, where his desk was found “disheveled” with “campaign items thrown in the trash, [and] personal belongings stolen.” The staffer’s “closed and sealed leather notebook containing sensitive campaign information was untied and had been opened.”
