Fries with firefighters: Saturday, South Bend Fire talks fire safety with free fries

SOUTH BEND — Grab some free fries and discuss fire safety with South Bend firefighters.

The South Bend Fire Department invites the community to join them at the McDonald's at 416 N. Michigan St. in South Bend, to learn about fire safety and receive a tour of their fire trucks. This family-friendly event, taking place on Aug. 31, offers attendees a free small McDonald's fries, courtesy of Bican Family Restaurants .
