Police: Pittsburgh garbage truck hits, injures woman in wheelchair
A woman in a motorized wheelchair was taken by ambulance for hospital treatment after being struck by a city garbage truck Friday in Pittsburgh. The woman, who suffered a “serious compound leg fracture,” was alert and talking after the crash, according to Pittsburgh Public Safety spokesperson Cara Cruz.
