HIGHLANDS, Texas — A woman was arrested after allegedly attempting to evade deputies on a bicycle, according to the Harris County Constable Pct. 3. Day Shift Deputies observed a suspicious female near a dumpster behind a local business in the 300 block of N. Main St. in Highlands. When the female noticed the deputies, she fled the area on her bicycle, traveling south on the northbound lanes of N. Main St. The female was observed disobeying several traffic laws, such as disregarding the red light at the intersection of E. Wallisville Rd. and N. Main St., putting herself and others at risk.
