Summary: Reduced air quality concerns for folks thanks to last nights light shows alongside some Sharan dust making for a rather Hazy start to most folks extended holiday vacation. Temperatures today will be slightly cooler thanks to a stalled cold front that could bring a concern for heavy rain, small hail and gusty winds along cooler temperatures. Flooding could become an issue where the front chooses to stall. Heading into this weekend a warm front will push north bringing in Gulf moisture as we watch Beryl make landfall for a second time near Tulum MX at 6:05 ET.

A cold front will slowly move in Monday thanks to a digging trough and Beryl bringing in rain chances most of next week with a disturbance swinging moisture our way right behind. The latest data from the NHC has Beryl making a third landfall at the Texas coast near South Padre Island. Those near Brownsville need to be on alert for heavy rain and Hurricane level winds with a high pressure likely to steer the Hurricane towards the northeast after landfall. What does that mean for us? More cloud cover, below average temperatures and more rain chances.

Today: Clouds increase through the day with a bit of dust and haze from last nights fireworks and Sharan dust. Scattered thunderstorms will also be possible. High Temperature: 88° Winds: MPH

Tonight: Seasonal, mostly cloudy with scattered showers possible into the overnight. Low Temperature: 71° Winds: MPH
