Judge throws out disciplinary charges against Spotswood's police chief, acting captain
SPOTSWOOD - A Superior Court judge has dismissed the disciplinary charges filed by the borough against Police Chief Philip Corbisiero and acting Captain Nicholas Mayo, saying that the municipality did not comply with the state's Internal Affairs Policies and Procedures. ShopRite is completely revamping one of its stores in central New Jersey, according to a new redevelopment plan proposed by officials. Holmdel-based Saker ShopRites, which owns and operates 39 ShopRite stores in Central Jersey and along the Jersey Shore, initially proposed building a brand new ShopRite in the parking lot of an existing store in Freehold Township.

Residents are advised to avoid this part of the roadway and follow all posted detours during this time.
