An East Hartford man faces a larceny charge for allegedly stealing a Bobcat loader in South Windsor and selling it on Facebook Marketplace.

Justin M. Dailey, 34, was charged Thursday with one count of larceny of a motor vehicle, according to the South Windsor Police Department .

Police allege that Dailey stole a 2005 Bobcat Skid Steer from the area of Arthur Drive and Foncine Lane around January. The owner of the loader found that it was listed for sale in Middleboro, Massachusetts, about a month later.

According to police, investigators allege that Dailey had sold the Bobcat to a resident of Middleboro via Facebook Marketplace.

The loader was recovered by South Windsor police and members of the Middleboro Police Department.

Following his arrest, Dailey was released on a $10,000 non-surety bond. He is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on Aug. 7.
