Site: Southern California Weather Force has issued a Thunderstorm Watch effective now through this evening …

Forecast: Monsoon moisture continues to stream through the area.  Last night, a few storms formed in the Las Vegas area, producing heavy rain and lightning on the strip.  The continued south to north flow today will bring the risk again for thunderstorms in Clark County, including the strip zone.

Thunderstorms today do not look like large hail producers, but they will contain gusty winds in the strongest cells.
