Prepare for dense fog in Berkshire County Monday morning
The National Weather Service issued a weather alert at 5:37 a.m. on Monday for dense fog until 8 a.m. for Berkshire County. "Locally dense fog has developed along rivers and within sheltered locales across the central and eastern Mohawk Valley, Capital District, northern Taconics, and Berkshires. Areas of fog will dissipate quickly following sunrise. Drivers should exercise caution when encountering rapidly changing roadway visibility, and should be sure to use low-beam headlights within areas of fog," says the weather service.

LEE, Mass. — Two peaker plants in Berkshire County have been out of service for two years and are in the process of demolition. Local environmentalists are rejoicing. Man sentenced to life in prison for 2016 Hartford double murder
A man has been sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of release for killing two people in Hartford in 2016. Brandon Letman, 31, was sentenced on Monday for charges connected to the fatal shootings of 21-year-old Ashley Spence and 19-year-old Cameron Mounds Jr. on June 21, 2016, according to Chief State’s Attorney Patrick J.
