College champion Madalyn Richards making her mark at the Reno Rodeo
Hereford, Texas native Madalyn Richards was roped into the rodeo when she was little. "I started competing in rodeo when I was probably 6 years old now," Richards said. "My dad college and pro rodeo'd, and so it’s just always been a part of my life. I was in sports in high school but rodeo was always my main deal."

$20,000 Donation to Justin Cowboy Crisis Fund from Reno Rodeo Association
RENO, Nev. —The Reno Rodeo Association is proud to announce a $5,000 donation to the Justin Cowboy Crisis Fund, raised through the successful Scalability Conference held June 18-22, 2024. A check presentation took place in the rodeo arena on Thursday, June 27, and a total of $20,000 was presented to the fund. This included $15,000 from the Reno Rodeo Association bowling tournament fundraiser, held in January.
