Sparrows Point student recognized on college lacrosse team

Hayden Carling of Sparrows Point is one of more than 200 student-athletes who competed for the Flying Dutchmen during the Spring 2024 season. Carling, a graduate of Sparrows Point High School, is pursuing a bachelor of science in business administration.

Carling was a member of the men’s lacrosse team. The Lebanon Valley College men’s lacrosse team finished the spring with a 7-10 overall record. Among the highlights of the season for the Dutchmen were the squad’s dominant 21-6 victory over Delaware Valley University on April 14 and LVC’s 22-7 Senior Day win against Fairleigh Dickinson University-Florham Campus on April 24. The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) recognized the program at the end of the spring with three All-MAC Freedom Team honorees.

A member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III, United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC), Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC), and Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC), Lebanon Valley College offers 26 sports.
